As part of the prequel programming emerging from *Omi Arts Gallery at Impact Hub Oakland, “Interplay” serves as the 1st experiential offering from the newly formed “Bridge Series” connecting curators, artists, educators and creative institutions from neighboring communities for a journey into shared identity via storytelling, artmaking and performance through digital media and in-person interaction.  The evening includes a series of intimate conversations on love, futurism, death and integral theory with Saul Williams and also includes a talkback session with co-star Anisia Uzeyman and Alain Gomis, director of “Tey,” Senegal’s official entry to the Academy Awards and winner of two dozen awards including the Golden Stallion for Best Film at the FESPACO Pan African Film Festival.

“Impact Hub Oakland is excited to launch this multi-media “Bridge Series” in order to spur deeper collaborations and cross-pollination with creatives in our community, says IHO Co-Director and BAI Co-Founder, Lisa Chacon.  “Interplay” serves as our first public conversation on artmaking and intergral theory – both ideas were important components in the design of our business.”
