American Political Economy

The American Political Economy working group brings together graduate students who are interested in American political economy in order to broaden and crossfertilize their understanding of the subject. By “political economy” this group means the activities of executives, labor, private firms, and public institutions as well as the political and legal environments that they constructed and operated within. Because American political economy is a field that can be studied from many different angles including law, labor, accounting, economics, technology, race, culture, and gender, we welcome students from many different departments.
