Buddhist Studies Graduate Roundtable

The Buddhist Studies Graduate Roundtable brings together graduate students whose work engages with Buddhism across disciplines, regions, and time periods. Berkeley graduate students working in Buddhist studies can be found not only in the Group in Buddhist Studies, but also spread across other departments and programs such as the Group in Asian Studies, History of Art, East Asian Languages and Cultures, South and Southeast Asian Studies, Anthropology, History, Comparative Literature, Philosophy, and others. The Roundtable provides a collegial space for graduate students from across campus to gather for presentations and discussions on precirculated readings concerning their areas of interest, including specific regions, texts, images, histories, and practices.
