Environmental Science & History

The Environmental Science and History (ES&H) working group brings together faculty, graduate students, and specialists from history, geography, anthropology, and the environmental and physical sciences to discuss the interrelationship between human beings and their environment. Berkeley is home to scholars whose research unites a humanistic vision with the study of particular ecologies and environmental change from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. This working group provides a venue for sharing and discussing works critical to various approaches to the relationship between humans and the environment, and an interdisciplinary space to present current research and solicit feedback.
