Native American Studies: The Politics of Identity

A group dedicated to issues concerning Native Americans that influence, and are influenced by, all academic disciplines.

The Native American Studies: The Politics of Identity working group discusses the dynamisms of contemporary Native American identity. Our group is dedicated to issues concerning Native Americans that influence, and are influenced by, all academic disciplines. As inherently interdisciplinary, Native American Studies scholarship on identity foregrounds its intersections with many factors such as: land, race, law, socio-economic status, gender, modernity, nationality, and others.
