Special Panel: History, Memory & the Marcos Era

The legacy of Ferdinand Marcos remains a contentious issue in contemporary Philippine society. Three decades after its fall from power and eventual exile, the Marcos family has regained its political influence. Its primary members hold significant positions of power led by former first lady Imelda Marcos as congresswoman, daughter Imee as governor of Ilocos Norte, and son Ferdinand Jr.
